Formation of National Working Group to Promote Prevention of
Corona Outbreak in Rural and Tribal Community

According to the information
center of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture, quoted by IRNA, Ali Akbar
Moayyedi, deputy director of agricultural research and promotion organization
and head of the institute of agricultural education and promotion, speaking with
IANA reporter about educational and promotional measures taken to combat corona
in the agricultural community told: National working group on prevention of
Corona in rural and tribal society of the country has been launched at the
institute for agricultural education and promotion. He then continued that: This
working group has been formed in coordination with the Ministry of Health and
other relevant guidance agencies to provide content, information, guidance of expert
promoters to provide successful extension guidelines to farmers.

 The president of the institute for
agricultural education and promotion continued: In the current situation,
despite the spread of the Corona virus, farmers provide food security for the
country and should not be compromised, and the farmers should feel safe in
order to be able to be productive. Consumers must also have full confidence in
the product for use.

 Moayyedi after rreferring to the fact that the
working group has so far provided 26 specific guidelines and recommendations in
different disciplines such as agricultural promoters and agricultural workers,
added that: guidelines and recommendations were prepared in various areas
including horticulture, agriculture, aquaculture, ranchers, agricultural
machinery drivers and their families, rural and tribal women and youth, natural
resource users, rural and nominee tourists, villagers, rural Islamic councils
and food consumers.

He also mentioned that
agricultural education and promotion messenger system was launched to deliver
fast, timely educational, promotional and technical messaging services to 10
thousand agricultural promoters and experts across the country.
