Fishery Products in IRAN

1.3 million tons of fishery products were produced in the
country

The head of the Iranian Fisheries Organization said: Despite
sanctions on our mother-land, Iran, Iran's fisheries production reached more
than 1.28 million tons last year.

Nabiolah Khoun-Mirzaie, the head of the Iranian Fisheries
Organization said: In 2019, we will again see an increase in fishery production
despite sanctions and difficult conditions, and according to the plan, one
million and 250 thousand tons of fishery products have been produced last year.

 He then added: The quality of aquaculture, fishing, farmed
fish, shrimp, and fish farming at sea is excellent, and those products were
easily sold in export markets, and fortunately the commercial balance of the
fisheries sector has been positive in recent years.

 He noted the opening of
250 fisheries projects this year, noting that nearly 50 projects will be
launched in the first half of 2021.
