Fars province launches cauliflower exports to Persian Gulf markets
Fars - The head of Crop Production at the Firuzabad Agriculture Office in the southern Fars province announced the start of cauliflower exports from Firuzabad to countries across the Persian Gulf.
According to Javad Pourmohammadi, cauliflower cultivation in Firuzabad is carried out through transplanting, beginning in mid-August and continuing into early October. “The main cultivated varieties include Arizona, SG, Amidala and Owindoli.”
Harvesting kicked off in mid-November and will continue through mid-December.
Pourmohammadi added that, alongside exports to Gulf states, a significant portion of the crop also meets domestic market demand.
