FRWO Uses Modern Technologies in Wildfire Monitoring and
Suppression

According to FRWO's website, Dr. Massoud Mansour, Deputy
Minister and Head of FRWO in the ceremony of unveiling of natural resources and
integrated watershed management technological projects and signing a memorandum
of understanding to establish a center for innovation and technology (CIT) of
natural resources and integrated watershed management (IWM) held at FRWO
Headquarters on Sunday said: FRWO needs to
pay attention to two approaches in order to manage more than 80% of the
country's areas. One of these approaches is people's participation in issues
related to natural resources management. Without people's participation, we
will not succeed in the protection, rehabilitation, development and
exploitation phase, either in the planning stage or in the implementation
stage.

The second approach that should be considered by FRWO is to
complete the government electronic service and the web-based telecommunication
technologies to improve and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of service
delivery to the public at the earliest including in the land and related
natural resource sector for increased transparency in service delivery and
emphasized that all natural resource bureaus in the cities should be connected
to administrative automation to monitor all correspondence and prevent damage
and errors.
