Economic prosperity and sustainability in food security:
Signing a comprehensive document between Iran and Serbia
Engineer, Mr. Keikhosrow Changlavaiee, referring to the
official follow-ups and correspondence to achieve a comprehensive document in
the field of plant protection and plant quarantine since 2017 between Iran and
Serbia, said: The conclusion of this document can, in addition to facilitating
and accelerating the trade of plant products, reduce the risk of plant harmful
agents, and consequently increase economic prosperity in the field of
agriculture and sustainability in ensuring food security in the country.
He then added that: The document was signed in
2018 during the 15th meeting of the Joint Commission for Economic Cooperation
between the two countries in Belgrade.
The
head of the country's plant protection organization also stated that: Iran has
so far entered into numerous agreements with Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Turkey, China,
Tajikistan, Iraq, the Russian Federation, Sudan and the Republic of Serbia on
plant protection and plant quarantine in accordance with Article 125 of the
Constitution.
