Fisheries Production Leap Programs
Deputy Minister and Chairman of the Fisheries Organization
of Iran, has mentioned that development of shrimp farming infrastructure is one
of the production leap programs of this organization.
Dr. Nabiolah Khoun-Mirzaie told: Support will be provided in
the field of creating the infrastructure of the 4,000 and 6,000-hectare shrimp
farming complex, and the development of this infrastructure is part of the
production leap programs of the Fisheries Organization. He then emphasized
that: Sea fish farming is a national duty and we have considered national
credit lines for this purpose in the country.
The head of the Iranian Fisheries Organization said that
Golestan is an innovator and leader in fish farming using agricultural water
wells.
Director General of Golestan Fisheries mentioned that:
Assignment of 2 pilot sturgeon farming projects with the participation and
investment of the private sector in a 500-hectare complex in the
province's sturgeon complex, which is the largest sturgeon breeding complex in
the world, is underway.
