Talk between the head of the Iranian Veterinary Organization
and the Russian representative on the development of joint cooperation

The head of the Iranian Veterinary Organization and the
assistant head of the Russian Federal Veterinary Service and Supervision of
Plant Quarantine exchanged views on the development of cooperation in terms of
removing export barriers and developing inter-sectoral cooperation in terms of
scientific and technical issues. In a joint meeting between the head of the
Iranian Veterinary Organization and the assistant head of the Russian Federal
Veterinary Service and Supervision of Russian Plant Quarantine
(Rosselkhoznadzor), which was held as a video conference, Dr. Ali Safar
Makanali and the Russian Representative exchanged views on the development of
cooperation in the field of export barriers and the development of
inter-sectoral cooperation in terms of scientific and technical issues.

Iran's main exports to Russia are dairy products and
seafood. Barriers to import vaccines for livestock and poultry farmers were
also discussed in this meeting.
