Cooperation between Iran and ITC in the field of production
and trade of agricultural products

In order to start the implementation of the national export
strategy, including in the field of medicinal plants, fruits and vegetables,
which is in line with the joint project of our Trade Development Organization
and the International Trade Center (ITC), a joint meeting with experts from the
center and the organization and relevant sections of the Ministry of Jihad-
Agriculture was held at the office of International Affairs and specialized
organizations.

Also, the representatives of the participating organizations
in this meeting, emphasized on food security in various dimensions as the main
strategy of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture, also expressed their views on
the benefit of experts and training courses, including in the field of
refineries of medicinal plants.

In this meeting, Marie Claude, Project Manager of Iran at
the International Trade Center (ITC) based in Geneva, also referred to the
features of the project in the agricultural sector and emphasized on the use of
new equipment and software technology dimensions, and asked to send technical
specifications, equipment and experts to be trained.
