Beginning of operation of 372 greenhouse projects with
investment of 4200 billion Tomans

Mohammad Mehdi Boroumandi, Deputy Minister of Horticulture
of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture in the 35th period of introducing and
celebrating the national elite of the agricultural sector and the ceremony of
exploiting the national projects of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture, which
was conducted by the President in the form of video conference, added: In 2014,
we produced a maximum of 1.4 million tons of vegetables, and 1.5 million
branches of flowers, which in 2020 we achieved 2.8 million tons of vegetables,
and more than 3 million branches of flowers, which is almost double, and by the
end of the 12th government, we will have
3.5 million tons of vegetables and 4.2 million branches of flowers.

The Deputy Minister of Horticulture of the Ministry of
Jihad-Agriculture said: 372 greenhouse projects are in operation in the country,
one of which is in Pishva city, which is active in the production and
distribution of rose bases, and with this production we can export about 3
million rose branches per year.

 Boroumandi also
mentioned that: By exploiting 372 greenhouse projects on 954 hectares with an
investment of 4,200 billion tomans, 11,500 jobs will be created and 300,000
tons will be added to the production of greenhouse products.
