Statistical data on agricultural products in Iran in 2018

The head of the information and communication technology
center of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture announced that: The production of
various agricultural products, including horticulture, livestock, poultry and
fisheries in 2018 has reached 117.7 million tons, which compared to the
production of 2017, which was 118.7 million tons, has shown a growth reduction
of 0.8 percent. He then added that: Wheat production the year 2018 was 13.3
million tons, which was harvested from an area of 5.4 million hectares. 

Mr. Ahmadi reminded that: Also, the amount of grain
production in 2018 amounted to 20.45 million tons, which has been harvested
from an area of 7.6 million hectares.

The head of the information and communication technology
center of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture announced that the production of
horticultural products in 2018 amounted to 20.53 million tons, which was
harvested from an area of 2.46 million hectares.

The head of the information and communication technology
center of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture stated that: Fishing and breeding
of all kinds of aquatic animals has increased from one million and 202.1
thousand tons in 2017 to one million and 238.6 thousand tons in 2018, which
shows a 3% growth in aquaculture products.
