Tackle Empowering Human Resource
According to the public relations of Imam Khomeini Higher
Education Center, Unions and Organizations in the Agricultural sector met on
Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Imam Khomeini Higher Education Center (IHEC). The
main focus of the meeting was training and empowering human resources of Unions
and Organizations in the Agricultural sector.
In this meeting, the following participated in person and
over 40 people attended virtually, including managers of more than 15 National
and Provincial Unions, Deputy Director of Organizational Development and
Director General of Education of the Central Organization for Rural
Cooperatives of Iran, Head of Agricultural Engineering and Natural Resources of
Alborz Province, Director of Rural Cooperatives of Alborz Province, the
Chairman, Deputies, and Managers of Educational Departments and offices in Imam
Khomeini Higher Education Center (ihec)
Dr. Hajimirrahimi, the Head of Imam Khomeini Higher
Education Center, pointed to the role and importance of agricultural unions and
organizations in agricultural development and said, "Agricultural unions
and Organizations do not have the necessary conditions to play their role in
agricultural development and these conditions must be provided for them. He
added to improve the current situation, it is necessary to empower the Union
and Organizations, and this can be achieved through educating their members in
the field of new agricultural technologies, agricultural economics, and issues
related to production management and union management. Dr. Hajimirrahimi also
emphasized that this training should be progressive.
Dr. Mohammadi, Deputy Director of Organizations Development
and Director General of Education of the Central Organization of Rural
Cooperatives of Iran, while thanking the Center for holding this meeting,
announced readiness to empower managers and members of unions and organizations
in the agricultural sector using capacities and facilities of Imam Khomeini
Higher Education Center to strengthen interactions with unions with the Center.
Engineer Shams Azar, Head of the Agricultural Engineering
and Natural Resources Organization of Alborz Province, also spoke about the
importance of education in empowering managers and members of unions and
organizations and how to train and empower them. Dr. Mokhtari, director of the
Sadra Library and Innovation Center based in the Imam Center, also spoke about
innovation in unions and organizations and its necessity. In this event, each
of the directors presented their points of view and then the representatives of
the unions expressed their views on the issue of the meeting. A summary of the
topics discussed was the next part of the meeting, and at the end, the
directors of the unions and organizations in the agricultural sector visited a
number of Knowledge-Based and Technology Companies based in the Center. The
concluding statement of the meeting was prepared and read with the following
issues:
Development of collective wisdom through the promotion of
knowledge-based activities and empowering of members of unions and
organizations in the agricultural sector
Increasing the level and depth of relations between
agricultural unions and organizations with agricultural research and education
centers and natural resources, as well as the Central Organization of Rural
Cooperation of Iran and its affiliated management
The need for continuous improvement of the production
process of agricultural unions and organizations through the development of
training programs
The need to move toward smart decision-making processes and
managerial decision-making in the production units of agricultural
organizations
Development and deepening of interactions between
agricultural unions and organizations with knowledge-based and technology
companies
Education is considered at the top of the programs of Unions
and Agricultural Organizations to improve knowledge, and skills and elevate the
attitude of managers and members of the unions
Creating strong networks in the field of training and
empowerment of managers and members of agricultural organizations
Holding annual conferences of Agricultural Unions with the
Central Organization of Rural Cooperatives of Iran to solve problems and issues
with organizations and optimal decision-making.
