Agricultural Cooporation
between IRAN and Pakestan

During the meeting between the Minister of Jihad-Agriculture of Iran
and the Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan for Trade and Investment, the
trade capacities of the agricultural products of Iran and Pakistan were
examined.

Dr. Sadati-Nejad, the Minister of Jihd-Agriculture of Iran, stated
that: Iran and Pakistan have common borders, religion, culture and ethnicities
that can bring better trade conditions for the two countries than what we have
today.He also mentioned that: Iran has the capacity to export dates and apple
to Pakistan.

 He finally added that: Our
view in the new government is to reinforce our communication with the
neighboring countries, such as Pakistan, and we plan to make financial
relations and trades between the two countries, considering the condition of
sanctions against Iran, through the currency of the two countries.
