According to the
information center of the ministry of Jihad-Agriculture, quoted by IRNA,
Ali-Akbar Moayyedi, head of the agricultural education and promotion institute
of Iran, in the 2nd conference of national rice farm day announced that there
will be 600 national farm days in different provinces and 27 national farm days
in the country, and also added that from 40 to 50 new varieties of agricultural
products will be unveiled in the near future.

He after stating that the three main pillars of a research
system are: knowledge, information and innovation, and must be respected, has
added that: now, in the leading farmers' farms, canola production has reached
to 7 tons per hectare, rice has reached to 12 tons and 800 kg per hectare, and
wheat has reached to 13.5 tons per hectare.

 He, after pointing out that our
country has good potential in research, education and promotion, added that
this capacity can be used throughout the country.

He declared that: we have designed a program so that we can
take benefit of these promotional patterns and pass them on to farmers. Thus, we
have to organize national crop days all over the country in order to make them informative
and inclusive.
