100 hectares of land under greenhouse cultivation in East
Azarbaijan  

A provincial official said 100 hectares of land are under
greenhouse cultivation in East Azarbaijan Province.

Zienolabedin Khorram, the governor of East Azarbaijan
Province, emphasized the need to develop controlled greenhouse cultivation in
the province.

He added that the development of greenhouse cultivation,
which has high value and importance for various reasons, is very effective in
terms of economy and sustainable employment.

In recent years, the water crisis has caused serious
challenges in Iran’s agriculture sector.

To solve this problem, several solutions, including the
implementation of pressurized irrigation projects and greenhouse cultivation,
have been emphasized by experts and officials in this sector.
