Tehran – The representative of the Leader at Iran's Ministry of Agriculture emphasized the longstanding and amicable relations between Iran and Indonesia, saying that deep cultural and religious shared values between the two nations can serve as a foundation for broadening cooperation, particularly in the fields of agriculture and food security.

 

In a meeting with a delegation of Indonesian Muslim students residing in Iran, Hojjatoleslam Seyed Hassan Rabbani highlighted the strong and enduring ties between the two countries.

 

"There are deep-rooted connections between Iran and Indonesia that can facilitate the expansion of cooperation across various sectors, especially in agriculture and food security," he said.

 

Rabbani further noted that the cultural and religious bonds between the peoples of Iran and Indonesia are a valuable asset for the development of bilateral relations, and stressed the need to leverage this potential to deepen collaboration and establish sustainable, productive partnerships.

 

Referring to Indonesia's standing in the Muslim world, the Leader's representative described Indonesia as one of the most significant Islamic nations, with numerous religious, cultural, and social commonalities with Iran that can further enhance and deepen bilateral ties.
