The president said: We are self-sufficient in wheat
production for 3 years now.

 According to the
information center of the Ministry of Agriculture-Jihad, Dr. Hasan Rouhani, in
a meeting with the presence of the Minister of Agriculture-Jihad, Deputy and
Directors of the Ministry of Co-operation, Labor and Social Welfare, has
mentioned that one of the most important steps taken in this government, in the
Ministry of Agriculture-Jihad, and in the aquaculture sector, was taken.

Dr. Rouhani has said: fish breeding in the sea is a big task
and valuable activity.

The President also mentioned that: it is about three years
now that we are self-sufficient in wheat production, and also 90% of the sugar
required is being produced in our country.

 He also added that we
are on the track to be self sufficient in oil production in Iran. Moreover, he
mentioned that production of oilseeds in the country, in 2018, has tripled
compared to the previous year.
