According to the information center of the Ministry of
Jihad-Agriculture, quoted by IRNA, Habi Jahansaz announced that: According to
statistics, so far 111818 tons of green tea was purchased of which 56,590 tons
consists grade 1, green leaf, and 55,223 tons was grade 2, green leaf.

tons of dried tea was extracted, which shows 5 percent increase compared with

The head of the country’s tea organization said that the
value of the purchased green leaf was 309 billion tomans, and added that: The
amount of claims paid to farmers was 253.7 billion tomans, which 82.7 percent
of it was paid.
