Makran coast has large capacity for fish and shrimp
breeding/ Proper climate conditions of Chahbahar for 10,000 hectares of
greenhouse cultivation and 100,000 job opportunities

Minister of Jihad-Agriculture has announced of the large
capacity of Makran beaches in fish and shrimp breeding, as well as in making
10,000 hectares of greenhouse cultivation and 100,000 jobs creation in
Chahbahar.

 According to the
information base of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture, quoted from the
government information bulletin, Dr. Eshaq Jahangiri, vice President of Dr.
Rouhani, in a meeting with the Minister of Jihad-Agriculture, noting the great
and unique capacity of Makran beaches in developing Sinstant and Baluchestan
& Hormozgan provinces, has told that Makran beaches can be transformed as
the pole and center of development and enrichment for these two provinces, i.e.
Sinstant and Baluchestan & Hormozgan.

He also added that for developing Makran beaches, we should
consider all various aspects, such as environmental and social issues must be
seen, and a detailed and well though policy for the implementation of a
comprehensive plan for the development of Makran beaches should be made.

The Minister of Jihad-Agriculture, by referring to the
appropriate climate conditions on the Makran beaches, especially in Chahbahar
for greenhouse cultivation, has also mentioned that Chahbabar has the capacity
for making 10,000 hectares of greenhouse cultivation and 100,000 jobs creation.

He also emphasized, after reminding that 55% of the
country’s fishing is carried out on the Makran beaches, that the Makran coast
has a vast capacity for fish and shrimp breeding, and by providing necessary
support, through both governmental and private sectors, we will see great
booming in this high capacity areas.
