Iranian researchers build nanobubble generator, IFO head
says
Iranian researchers at knowledge-based companies have
successfully developed nanobubble generators which assume a crucial role in
prioritizing the health and welfare of farmed fish, according to the head of
Iran Fishery Organization (IFO) said.
The Iranian nation has succeeded in turning sanctions and
threats into opportunities, Seyed Hossein Hosseini said on Thursday addressing
the sixth Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia.
“The sanctions have been neutralized
with the help of Iranian knowledge-based firms. we have made major progress in
the field of nano-technology and recently our scientists managed to manufacture
nanobubbles generators,” he said.
The head of Iran Fishery Organization further said that the
Islamic Republic of Iran has proven to be a reliable partner, noting that
Tehran is ready to help Russia.
Nanobubble oxygenation delivers quick and immediate
oxygenation to crowded fish during treatments, while utilizing dramatically
less oxygen. Optimizing levels of oxygen during treatment lowers fish stress
levels and enables longer and more effective treatments.
The sixth Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia was
held in St. Petersburg from September 27 to 29, 2023. The expo attracted over
100,000 visitors and witnessed active participation from more than 400
companies, alongside the contributions of 139 esteemed speakers, creating a
convergence of industry luminaries, traders, and retailers.
