Iranian northern province reports 295 ton hazelnut harvest
Mazandaran – The Iranian Nur County, located in the northern province of Mazandaran, has recorded a hazelnut harvest of 295 tons this season, according to the county’s Director of Agriculture.
The crop was cultivated across 140 hectares of farmland, mainly in the region’s mid-altitude and mountainous areas.
Mr. Hooshmand noted that the average yield reached 2.1 tons per hectare, reflecting stable productivity across the county’s orchards.
He added that hazelnut farming in Nour supports the livelihoods of more than 300 growers actively engaged in cultivation and harvest operations.
