Brazil - Iran's diplomatic push pays off as its major policy proposals are adopted into the BRICS Agriculture Ministers' Summit's final declaration.

Ministers from BRICS nations are convening in Brasília for the 15th annual agriculture meeting, with food security, trade innovation, and sustainable farming topping the agenda.

Under the leadership of Agriculture Minister Gholamreza Nouri, Iran's delegation achieved full acceptance of its initiatives, most notably: Food security investment partnerships, New BRICS fisheries & aquaculture task force, Farmland preservation and rehabilitation program, and climate resilience financing mechanisms.

Minister Nouri is leading the Iranian delegation to the 15th BRICS Agriculture Ministers' Meeting (AMM). The theme of 15th BRICS AMM is “Promoting Inclusive and Sustainable Agriculture through Cooperation, Innovation, and Equitable Trade among BRICS Countries”.

The summit will finalize the 2025-2028 BRICS Agricultural Cooperation Roadmap, setting priorities for member states' collective food systems.
