Tehran – The third international Tuna Conference is scheduled to be held in January 2026 in Iran's southeastern port city of Chabahar.

 

The Iranian Fisheries Organization, in partnership with the Iran Canning Industry Syndicate and the Chabahar Free Zone Organization, will host the Third International Tuna Conference and Exhibition on January 21–22, 2026.

 

The event will be held at the Chabahar Free Zone International Exhibition and Conference Center.

 

Under the theme “Sustainable Fishing, a Dynamic Industry: Advancing Sea-Oriented Development,” the conference will highlight sustainable tuna fishing practices, promote innovation in the industry, and showcase the sector’s vital role in marine-based economic growth.
