Iran exports 3.5m tons of agri- food, products in 6
months 

Some 3.5 million tons of agricultural and foodstuff products
were exported in the first six months of the current Iranian calendar year
(March 21-September 22), an official said.

“In the first six months of this
year, Iranian producers succeeded in exporting 3.5 million tons of agricultural
and foodstuff products,” the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration
(IRICA) spokesman Ruhollah Latifi announced. 

“The exports [of agricultural and
foodstuff products] registered a 21 percent rise compared to the same period
last year,” he noted.   

Latifi added that - of the total exported products - 424,781
tons worth $616 million went to livestock,
