The value of
Iran’s fishery export stood at $605 million in the past Iranian calendar year
1401 (ended on March 20), the head of Iran Fisheries Organization (IFO) Hossein
Hosseini announced.
“Last year,
181,000 tons of fishery products valued $605 million were exported,” Hosseini
said on Sunday on the occasion of Government Week (August 24-30).
Iran's
aquaculture industry is on the wave of progress and has world ranks in the

It is worth
mentioning that the growth and development of Iran’s aquaculture industry has
reached the point where the country has become a model for the countries of the
region and the world.
The United

responsible and central role in fishing and aquaculture in the region, and for
this reason, it can be considered a model for the countries of the region.
