Iran agricultural exports soar.

Tehran - Iran's agricultural sector has experienced a significant surge in exports over the past seven months.
From March 20 to October 21, 2024, the country's agricultural exports surged by 28% in value, reaching a total of $2.2 billion. Additionally, the volume of exports increased by 16%, totaling 3.8 million tons.
Key agricultural products driving this growth include pistachios, tomatoes, watermelons, apples, and dates. Pistachios, in particular, were a top performer, generating $614 million in export revenue.
These figures align with earlier reports from the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA). In the first half of the year (March 20 to September 21), agricultural exports had already seen a 26% increase in value and a 20% increase in volume.
