Iran advances overseas farming in Kazakhstan, Pakistan
Tehran – Iran has taken another step toward expanding its overseas agriculture program, reviewing two proposed farming investment projects in Kazakhstan and Pakistan, a report said.
At its latest meeting, the Technical Committee on Overseas Agriculture evaluated the projects’ technical, financial, and legal feasibility, while examining opportunities for agricultural investment, technology transfer, and sustainable crop production, the report carried by the official website of the Ministry of Agriculture said.
The committee said the proposals will undergo final expert review before being submitted to the relevant authorities for approval.
The committee meets regularly to evaluate and coordinate Iran’s agricultural investment projects abroad as part of the country’s long-term food security strategy.
