Tehran – The Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute has exported vaccines worth around $1.3 million in the first half of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-September 22), Director General Ali Es’haqi announced.

 

Razi Institute products are already registered and distributed in international markets, and negotiations are underway to expand exports to additional countries in West Asia, Es’haqi said.

 

He highlighted strong demand for the institute’s vaccines, noting that foreign partners are actively pursuing financing and delivery agreements, with collaboration progressing smoothly.

 

“The institute is also preparing to expand its export portfolio, including vaccines and other biological products. Exports of livestock and poultry vaccines have already been completed, with additional shipments in the pipeline.”

 

Emphasizing the institute’s role in promoting knowledge-based exports, Es’haqi said, “Our goal is to increase Razi Institute’s presence in regional and global markets. With our scientific and technical capacity, we anticipate significant growth in medical and veterinary product exports this year and in the coming years.”
