Tehran – Iranian and Uruguayan officials met to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector, with a focus on strengthening technical, scientific and trade ties.

 

The meeting, held in both in-person and virtual formats, was chaired by Dr. Mo'meni, Acting Director General of the Office of International Affairs and Specialized Organizations at Iran's Ministry of Agriculture, and attended by ministry deputies, senior officials and technical experts.

 

The two sides explored opportunities for cooperation in agricultural research, technology and knowledge exchange, as well as initiatives to promote bilateral agricultural trade and deepen collaboration between the two countries.
