Iran, China agree to boost agricultural tech, knowledge sharing
Tehran – Iran’s Minister of Agriculture met with the Chinese Ambassador in Tehran to discuss strengthening bilateral agricultural cooperation, with a focus on technology transfer and knowledge exchange.
During the talks, Gholamreza Nouri highlighted Iran’s active role in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and reaffirmed the country’s commitment to ensuring the success of the upcoming SCO Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting, scheduled for August in Beijing.
Nouri extended an official invitation to China’s Agriculture Minister to visit Tehran for the third session of the Iran-China Joint Agricultural Cooperation Committee.
The Chinese Ambassador welcomed the proposal, saying “As a key export market for Iranian agricultural products, China stands ready to enhance technical and economic collaboration in the farming sector.”
