During a ceremony attended by Head of FRWO at Nowshahr
Airport, areal monitoring of Hyrcanian forests online
system equipped with light aircraft was launched in Mazandara province.

According to FRWO’s website, Dr. Massoud Mansour, Deputy
Minister and Head of FRWO at the inauguration ceremony of the project said:
"Considering the importance of protecting natural resources and forests,
especially Hyrcanian forests, a memorandum of understanding was signed
between the Ministry of Agriculture Jahad and Deputy of Vice-President for
Science and Technology to use modern technologies last year and this new
system also started working in the same direction and experimentally.
