Memorandum of Understanding signed between Iran Agricultural
Research,Education and  Extention Organizaion and the Yanan Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences

According to the information center of the Ministry of
Jihad-Agriculture, quoted by the public relations of AREEO, the
Deputy Minister and Head of the Agricultural Research, Education and Organization, following the official invitation of the Yanyan Chinese Academy
of Agricultural Sciences, while visiting the Academy's facilities, equipment, laboratories
and research activities, met with Dr. Xuelin Li, President of the Yanyan
Chinese Academy of Agriculture.   

In the meeting, Dr. Kzem Khavazi, referring to the history
and antiquity of bilateral relations between Iran and China, calls for the
development of scientific relations within the framework of the Silk Road
Restoration Program.

Dr. Li also described the development of scientific
relationships with the Agricultural Research and Development Research
Organization of Iran as an appropriate and scientifically effective opportunity
and emphasized the development of bilateral relations.

At the end of the meeting, while announcing readiness to
expand research collaborations between the two sides, a Memorandum of
Understanding on Agricultural Research Collaborations was formally signed
between the Agricultural Research and Promotion Research Organization of IR
Iran and the Yanan Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences.
