Hamedan – Farmers in Asadabad county in the western Hamedan province are preparing to harvest ۴۰۰ metric tons of beans this season, marking a dramatic ۲۳% increase in production compared to last year, according to the Hamedan Agricultural Organization.

 

Moslem Hassanabadi, Director of Asadabad's Agricultural Department, said, "This year's bean harvest demonstrates our farmers' remarkable adaptation to new techniques. We'll celebrate this success with a Bean Festival in Chahardoli district next month."

 

The official added that additional festivals for chickpeas, tomatoes and sugar beets are being organized, noting, "Our tomato cultivation alone has reached ۱۰۷ hectares and continues growing daily. This diversification proves our agricultural strategy is working."
