Agriculture minister urges rapid implementation of
agreements with neighbors

Iranian Minister of Agriculture Mohammad-Ali Nikbakht called
for a rapid implementation of the agreements struck between Iran and neighbors
in the sector of agriculture.

We need to seize the trade opportunity with regional
countries and expedite the implementation of the projects that have been agreed
upon, Nikbakht said on Tuesday in a meeting in Tehran at Bureau of
International Affairs and Specialized Organizations of the Ministry of
Agriculture.

“All related institutions need to
follow up the implementation of agreements”, he said.

We need to redouble our efforts and maintain and strengthen
our relations with our neighbors so that we can boost the export of
agricultural products, the minister said, noting that all our borders are open
to neighbors.

President Ebrahim Raisi’s government places a high priority
on strengthening ties with neighbors.
