Tehran – Iran has vaccinated 49 million livestock against foot-and-mouth disease, according to Alireza Rafieipour, the head of Iran Veterinary Organization.

 

Speaking during a visit to North Khorasan province, Rafieipour said all veterinary personnel are working diligently to protect livestock and public health amid wartime conditions.

 

He also praised the cooperation of executive bodies in securing essential goods.

 

Meanwhile, North Khorasan Governor Bahman Nouri called for the construction of a livestock refinery and the completion of a mega-cattle farm project in the province.
