Bandar Abbas – Some 310,000 tons of staple foods have been discharged from Iran’s Shahid Rajaee Port in Bandar Abbas, the capital of southern Hormozgan province, a provincial official said.

 

“240,000 tons of wheat and 70,000 tons of sweet corn have been discharged and distributed across the country,” Adel Shahrzad said.

 

He added the strategic move is aimed at meeting the daily demand of the market in the country, and will continue for the next four months.
