Tehran - The Iranian livestock industry received a significant boost with the inauguration of new physiology and embryo production laboratories at the Animal Science Research Institute.

 

Gholamreza Salehi Jozani, Deputy Minister of Research and Technology at the Agricultural Research, Education, and Extension Organization (TATO), emphasized the transformative potential of these labs during the opening ceremony.

 

"These cutting-edge facilities will play a crucial role in advancing animal science research in Iran," Jozani said.

 

"The biotechnology lab, dedicated to preserving genetic resources, will focus on embryo production techniques for various animal species, ensuring the conservation of valuable genetic diversity."

 

Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of the newly established microbiology lab.

 

"This lab will enable us to develop innovative feed formulations and reduce our reliance on imported feed additives, ultimately enhancing animal health and productivity," he explained.
