Tehran – The Iranian Minister of Agriculture hailed the prestigious Razi Institute as a cornerstone of Iran's health and hygiene.

In a ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of the Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute, Gholamreza Nouri said, "The Razi Institute is not only a crown jewel of the Ministry of Agriculture but also a pillar of Iran's overall health and well-being,"

He added that the institute's crucial role in the Seventh Development Plan, where it has been tasked with significantly increasing the domestic supply of veterinary vaccines.

Nouri further urged the institute's entire staff to redouble their efforts and expand scientific services and strategic production, emphasizing the need to tap into existing capabilities, secure government support and foster collaborations with private and knowledge-based entities.
