Of this volume, 658 consignments weighing 14,742 tons were shipped to India, while the remaining 1,044 consignments, amounting to 22,514 tons, were exported to other target markets.”
The province has also recorded substantial citrus exports. During the same period, 548 consignments of tangerines weighing 11,004 tons and 1,321 consignments of oranges weighing 26,328 tons were exported to global markets, he added.
“In total, citrus exports reached 2,815 consignments with a combined weight of 58,013 tons. Key export destinations for Mazandaran’s horticultural products include member states of the Eurasian Economic Union - Armenia, Belarus, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan - as well as countries along the Persian Gulf.”
Naderian noted that exports are expected to continue through late June. If the current trajectory is maintained, the province’s kiwi and citrus exports are projected to increase further, strengthening Mazandaran’s position in international markets.
