Iraq top destination for Iran agricultural products

Tehran - Iran's agricultural and food exports experienced significant growth in the first eight months of the year, reaching a total value of $4.9 billion, according to a new report from the Tehran Chamber of Commerce's Economic Research Department.
Compared to the same period last year, the value of agricultural exports saw a notable increase, rising by 1.4 percentage points.
This growth was accompanied by a slight decrease in agricultural imports.
Furthermore, the average price per ton of exported agricultural products experienced a 7.6% increase, reaching $763.
The report revealed that Iraq has become the primary destination for these exports, with pistachios accounting for a substantial portion of the shipments.
