Iranian tech firm develops advanced agri drones

An Iranian knowledge-based company operating out of Sharif University of Technology's Science and Technology Park has achieved mass production of innovative "agricultural sprayer drones."
These drones offer a modern and efficient approach to crop spraying, according to Abdollah Roosta, the commercial manager of Sharif Agrobot Knowledge-Based Company. He explained that the drones provide several benefits, including increased productivity, reduced water and pesticide consumption, and precise application.
Sharif Agrobot manufactures the drones in three sizes: 10, 20, and 30 liters.
Roosta emphasized that the drones' accuracy ensures optimal product quality by delivering targeted spraying. Additionally, they can navigate hard-to-reach areas, maximizing their effectiveness.
A crucial feature is the integrated smart warning system. It alerts operators when the pesticide tank needs refilling, preventing disruptions and ensuring efficient operation.
Roosta concluded by highlighting the drones' contribution to sustainable agriculture. By enabling precise application, they significantly reduce water and pesticide use, benefitting both farmers and the environment.
