Tehran – Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized the crucial role of a maritime-based economy in the country's future.
 
In a cabinet meeting on Sunday, Dr. Pezeshkian outlined a vision for Iran to become a dominant force in the Persian Gulf.
 
Citing the guidelines of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the President said that Iran must adopt a proactive and robust approach to its national development.
 
He specifically highlighted the southern province of Hormozgan as a key area for maritime economic growth. The goal is to surpass regional competitors and solidify Iran's position in the Persian Gulf.
