Iranian delegation visits Turkey, Russia to boost regional agricultural diplomacy
Tehran - An economic delegation from Iran’s Ministry of Agriculture has traveled to Turkey and Russia to advance regional agricultural diplomacy, diversify trade routes for agricultural products, and secure essential commodity supplies.
The delegation visited the two countries with the goal of promoting regional agricultural diplomacy, strengthening and diversifying corridors and supply chains for basic goods, and facilitating trade in agricultural and food products.
During the visit to Turkey, the delegation held productive negotiations with major companies active in the supply and trade of livestock inputs and essential commodities, resulting in several effective agreements.
While in Moscow, the delegation held seven specialized meetings with Russian officials and executives from major state-owned and private companies regarding the supply of essential goods and livestock inputs. Both sides discussed and reached agreements on mechanisms to facilitate bilateral trade in these sectors.
