Tehran - On the second day of its visit to China, an Iranian delegation toured the Exhibition of Advanced Agricultural Technologies in Shanghai, where the latest innovations in modern agriculture were showcased.

 

The exhibition featured drought- and stress-resistant seed varieties, agricultural drones for spraying and seeding, and a range of other cutting-edge technologies aimed at boosting productivity and sustainability in the agricultural sector.

 

During the visit, the hosts provided an overview of the history and development of the international exhibition, as well as information on its member and partner countries.

 

A joint meeting was also held to explore opportunities for scientific and technological cooperation in agriculture between Iran and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).

 

The event was attended by senior officials and representatives from SCO member states, highlighting the organization’s growing focus on agricultural innovation and collaboration.
