Iranian, Turkish officials resolved to remove trade barriers, Minister says

Ankara – Iranian Minister of Agriculture Gholamreza Nouri said Tehran and Ankara are determined to remove any barriers hindering the growth of agricultural trade between the two neighboring nations.
"Both Iranian and Turkish officials are committed to fostering effective bilateral cooperation, particularly in the agricultural sector, where both nations share numerous common interests,” Nouri said on Thursday, addressing Iranian agricultural and food industry businessmen in Turkey.
He added, “To further strengthen these ties, we have coordinated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to deploy agricultural experts from the Ministry of Agriculture as economic advisors to countries with significant agricultural trade."
The minister noted that Iranian authorities are actively working to resolve customs-related issues faced by exporters in the Turkish market, underscoring the shared commitment of Iran and Turkey to fostering robust bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector.
