Iranian, Pakistani agriculture ministers hold talks in Islamabad
Iran’s Minister of Agriculture Mohammad Ali Nikbakht and his Pakistani counterpart held a meeting in Islamabad on Monday and discussed ways to expand the two country’s bilateral cooperation in the sector of agriculture.
The meeting came following a joint press conference between the two nations’ presidents in the Pakistani capital.
The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector, with a particular emphasis on enhancing food security and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
Both ministers expressed their commitment to expanding trade in agricultural products and sharing expertise in various agricultural fields.
Heading a high-ranking political and economic delegation, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi arrived in Islamabad on Monday morning at the official invitation of his Pakistani counterpart.
