Tehran –The Iranian Minister of Agriculture has announced the country’s commitment to aligning its National Coordination Headquarters for Soil Conservation and Sustainable Use with global initiatives.  
 
Addressing the World Soil Day ceremony, Gholamreza Nouri emphasized the importance of enacting legislation and implementing programs that align with international organizations' objectives on soil conservation.
 
The Minister also called on global soil conservation bodies to advocate for peace in the region, saying that an end to the ongoing conflict in the West Asia region would significantly contribute to advancing ambitious environmental protection goals.
