Tehran – The Iranian Ministry of Agriculture has issued new export terminal licenses in a bid to streamline agricultural exports, an official said.

  

Speaking at a gathering of agricultural industry leaders, Iran's Deputy Minister of Agriculture Akbar Fathi emphasized the need to modernize the sector by investing heavily in mechanization and processing technologies.

 

"Agriculture has traditionally been labor-intensive and challenging. But with increased investments, we can transform it into a more attractive and profitable sector."

 

The new export terminals are established under the supervision of the Central Development Headquarters for Mechanization and Agricultural Industries.
