Tehran - Iran's aquaculture industry is experiencing a period of significant growth, with exports of aquaculture feed soaring by 90% in value over the past eight months.

 

According to Mohammad Mokhtari, Director General of the Office for Improvement of Quality, Processing, and Development of Fisheries Markets, the country exported approximately 83,000 tons of aquaculture feed, generating over $69 million in revenue during this period.

 

This substantial increase underscores the growing global demand for Iranian aquaculture products and highlights the sector's increasing contribution to the country's economy.
