Iran agriculture minister heads to Brazil for key BRICS Summit

Tehran - Iran’s Minister of Agriculture Gholamreza Nouri has headed to Brazil to attend the 15th BRICS Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting.
The summit, held in Brasília, will address pressing global challenges, including, Food and Nutrition Security, Sustainable Farming and Innovation, and Agricultural Trade and Investment.
Delegates are also expected to finalize the BRICS Agricultural Cooperation Action Plan (2025-2028), setting the bloc’s strategic agenda for the coming years.
Iran became a full BRICS member in January 2024, aligning with founding nations Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa in shaping global agricultural policies.
