First women forest rangers conference held in Semnan province

Semnan, Iran – Semnan Province played host to its first-ever conference dedicated to women forest rangers last week.
The Director-General of the Natural Resources and Watershed Management Department of Semnan Province, Moradi Haghighi, emphasized the invaluable contributions of forest rangers.
"With their strong hands and hearts full of love for nature, forest rangers have always been at the forefront of protecting our country's natural resources," he said.
Moradi further highlighted the significance of women forest rangers, saying, "Women forest rangers are not only guardians of our forests and rangelands, but also the primary defenders of our land, water, soil, and families. Their tireless efforts in challenging and sometimes dangerous conditions demonstrate their unwavering commitment and dedication."
He also underscored the importance of a skilled, dedicated, and motivated workforce in successfully protecting natural resources. "Collaboration and cooperation among all staff, especially women forest rangers, are essential for achieving better results and ensuring the optimal protection of our country's natural resources.”
